Ross KramerRoss believes that mounting a theatrical production is a truly collaborative effort. His ability to communicate ideas to his creative team and to be open and receptive to their input is the key ingredient to the success of his productions. An “actor’s director,” Ross thrives on creating an environment that allows the performers the freedom they need to organically become the characters they are creating.

Ross enjoys working on many different genres of plays. He has directed broader comedies as well as serious drama. What is important to Ross is that the play has something interesting to say. New works are of special interest to him: “Being the first one to bring a play to life is exciting. There are so many possibilities. It’s an invigorating experience.” His productions of “Never Swim Alone” and “Modern Dance for Beginners” have been Los Angeles and United States Premieres. Both of these works offer edgy, captivating looks at the human psyche and what makes us tick.

Whether it’s new work or a standard, Ross and his creative team always put their stamp on the material making for provocative, engaging experiences.
